H. Schulman, James Lapine, Tommy Tune, John Caird, John Jory, Jeff
Calhoun, Christopher Renshaw, Mike Ockrent and Garry Marshall.
He directed THE SECRET GARDEN
for the CLO of South Bay Cities and Bakersfield Music Theatre, GOOD
IDEAS, BAD INTENTIONS at The Colony, conceived the benefit PHANTOM
VOICES for THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA national tour, and just created
a one-whale show, THE WHALE AND JONAH. He’s an alum of the BMI
Musical Theatre Workshop and member of the Lincoln Center Theatre
Director's Lab West.
On Broadway he went INTO THE
WOODS with Bernadette Peters, starred opposite Cyd Charisse in GRAND
HOTEL, THE SECRET GARDEN, A CHRISTMAS CAROL w/ Tony Randall, and the
pre-Bwy KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN. National Tour: LES MIZ, PHANTOM…
and SHOW BOAT.
On film his acting doppelganger, Gregory North, is IN GOOD COMPANY,
ZOMBIE PROM and Cameron Crowe’s upcoming ELIZABETHTOWN – On TV: ER,
Frasier, The District, It's all Relative, Malcolm in the Middle,
Ally McBeal, Judging Amy, Law & Order, and the animated ASTROBOY.
His 100+ appearances in regional
theatre include; Actors Theatre of Louisville (Capt. Hook), The
Kennedy Center, Buffalo Studio Arena, Fulton Opera House, North
Shore Music Theatre, Sacramento Music Circus, and Kansas City
Starlight (the Phantom). LA: REPRISE!, Falcon, Rubicon, Colony,
Int'l City Theatre (Ovation Award CAUGHT IN THE NET)...
He holds an MFA from the U of Washington Professional Actor Training
Program under Robert Hobbs and is married to actor Cynthia Marty.
