Ed McBride came to acting by way of the mascot world.  He was his college’s mascot, a minor league mascot and Dinger, the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club’s mascot.  He can be seen in the upcoming movie ICHABOD! as Hendrik, the Parson and also unseen as the Headless Horseman.  As well as being seen on television in various commercials, he can be seen in the upcoming fall release of the show, Close To Home.  On stage, he has performed mainly in Denver, CO in the productions: Machinal, The Compleat Works of Wllm. Shkspr (Abridged), plenty of children’s theater, improv and sketch comedy, and was awarded the Denver Post Ovation Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for his role as Brad in David Lindsey-Abaire’s A Devil Inside.  He wants to thank the Costa Mesa Civic Playhouse and Mr. Zerkle for this opportunity to do one of his favorite characters in one of his favorite shows.  Big thanks to his family and to Margaret for the unwavering support.
