Urinetown marks Stephen's performing debut at the playhouse.  Other shows include: Forever Plaid (Sparky, Smudge), Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph), 1776 (Rutledge), La Boheme (Marcello), Amahl and the Night Visitor (Melchior), You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown), Assassins (John Hinckley), Man Of La Mancha (Padre), The Gondoliers (Giuseppe), The Mikado (Nanki-Poo), Once Upon A Mattress (Minstrel), My Fair Lady (Freddy), Lend Me A Tenor (Tito), The Crucible (Danforth). Stephen has also musical directed/conducted: Chess, Forever Plaid, Into The Woods, Sweeney Todd, A Chorus Line, The Music Man and an upcoming production of Company. For Costa Mesa Playhouse he has musical directed and played for Once On This Island, School House Rock Live!, The Secret Garden and this summer's Sondheim review fundraiser.
