Making his debut at the Costa Mesa Civic Playhouse, Derek Houck is described by
many as the most intense short man ever seen. Inspired by a combination
of movies, professional wrestling and musicals, Derek departed from the
Mid-West to pursue a life of entertaining others. He recently graduated
from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and served as a member of the
2004-2005 Academy Company, where he performed in /The Bar Off Melrose,
SubUrbia, The Shadow Box, The Distance From Here, /and /Bad Habits/.
